Pilates is a floor–based exercise meant to strengthen and lengthen muscles, improve your overall flexibility, lower stress levels, flatten your stomach and trim your waist through the creation of a natural girdle of strength. You will learn how to apply breathing, hold a proper posture and achieve overall wellness. These exercises will change the way you look, the way you feel and the way you move. Pilates will reduce incidence or occurrence of back pain and is geared to promote mental and physical strength by training both the mind and the body.
