Mindful Activities and Yoga

This class introduces children to the benefits of mindful activities and yoga in a fun and easily accessible manner. Children will learn age-appropriate yoga poses and engage in creative yoga games that develop physical strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

To compliment this physical activity, we will practice calming breathing techniques, simple visualizations, and other related mindful and relaxation activities. These are all tools that children can then use outside the classroom to assist in their emotional and energetic self-regulation.
