At Tiger Tots, we provide a safe nurturing learning environment for children ages 18 months to 6. All the programs have similar educational goals, values and philosophy.

In each of the programs, activities and materials are planned in a developmentally appropriate manner within a challenging and exciting learning environment.

Play sets the stage for learning and provides the medium through which the children may imitate, explore, test ideas, acquire information and draw conclusions.

Our program emphasizes the fostering of positive self–image, socialization and recognizes the uniqueness of each child.

Waiting List Application Form

Prospective families should fill out a Waiting List Application Form and submit to the TYPA office or email Joanna Lee at leej@typa.org.tw We will also need a copy of your child’s passport to show that he/she meets the requirements of ‘foreign nationality’.

There is no fee for waiting list placement. Upon completion of the form, new families may be contacted for a required visitation before registration. It usually takes place at the beginning of March for the fall semester and November for the spring semester.

A non–refundable registration fee of $15,000 per semester is required for each child upon his/her acceptance into the program. Tuition for Fall semester must be paid in full by the end of the due date. Tuition for Spring semester must be paid in full upon registration in November. No refunds or credits will be given (toward TYPA or Tiger Tots programs) after tuition due dates unless families are leaving Taiwan. If tuition is not paid by the due date, it will be assumed that the child will not attend.

If parents choose to take a vacation during scheduled school days, tuition will not be refunded or credited for the child’s time away from preschool. All Tiger Tots class fees cover one full semester. Classes are available once a minimum number of participants have been reached.

Our office hours are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 12:00pm and 1:00pm to 4:30pm, and Saturday 9:00am to 3:00pm.

The corner of the NT$ Cash Check must be crossed out, non-transferable and payable to "TYPA".

Please send by registered mail with a copy of the registration form to the TYPA office or deliver in person. The name of participant and program detail should be listed on the registration form.

After you have completed the bank transfer, please email (1) the remittance slip and (2) the registration form to reg@typa.org.tw or fax (02-28736344). The name of participant and program detail should be listed on the registration form.

If your family is leaving Taiwan and withdrawal is completed before the due dates listed below, a NT$500 processing fee will be deducted from the remaining program cost and the remainder will be refunded or credited.
However for pre-school summer camp, a NT$1,000 processing fee will be charged instead for each week withdrawn.

Credits are transferable to any other class or program for a period of one year from the time of the withdrawal. The transferred credits can also be used by any member of the same family. Refunds will be issued by check within three weeks of withdrawal notice. For amounts of less than $3,000 a cash refund can be requested. All payments made by credit card can only be refunded to the card itself.
