This class offers students a flexible and interesting learning environment. As an entry class to acting, games and activities will be used to introduce the elements of acting such as improvisation, concentration, imagination, voice projection, and role-playing.
At the end of the semester, students will have a wonderful chance to act on stage! Further acting skills will be introduced in the class and students will learn how to use these skills to develop characters of their own.
This is an advanced acting class. There is more emphasis on professional training so students can physically and mentally develop their acting abilities. Students will also be introduced to character analysis, monologues and scene work.
At the end of the semester, students will present a stage show. Students will participate in all aspects of creating a play, including character development, costume design, prop design, rehearsing and performing.
