Taekwon-Do (ITF Style)

ITF Taekwon-Do follows the tenets and philosophy of its founder, General Choi Hong Hi. Its philosophy is based on the essential tenets of courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit. It is essential to apply the tenets of Taekwon-Do and fully embody them both inside and outside the training area ('dojang'). This should not be seen as mere repetition or a habit of memory, but rather as adopting a way of life that aligns us with the power that practicing Taekwon-Do offers. Taekwon-Do, with its four facets, is one of the most complete martial arts: as a self-defense method, as a sport, as a means of social development, and, of course, as a way of life.
