Basketball Camp

If you are looking to raise your game to the next level, then our TYPA basketball camp is the place to be! Our week-long camp is designed to expose players to intense individual training, as well as team concepts of offense and defense. Our expert coaches range from former college and professional players to our very own high school heroes! We use a variety of competitive, fun drills and workouts that are designed to inspire and teach participants to be smart, fundamentally-sound, and complete basketball players. Not only will campers develop throughout the week, but they will also be taught drills and training techniques that they can use throughout their basketball careers.

Some of the techniques and principles that will be taught at the camp:

  • Fundamental passing, ball handling, defense and rebounding
  • Triple-threat position
  • Perimeter and “back-to-the-basket” one-on-one moves
  • Setting screens to free-up open shots
  • Communication and conditioning
  • Fun individual and team competitions
  • Explanation, demonstration, imitation, and repetition
