Science is more than experiments in a laboratory—it helps us understand the world around us.
Inspired by the Dragon Boat Festival, our campers explored the science behind boats by designing and building their own miniature vessels. They learned about movement, balance, and momentum before putting their creations to the test on the water.
Through hands-on discovery and real-life experimentation, our young scientists developed their curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills while having lots of fun along the way!
One of the things that makes TYPA Summer Day Camp truly special is the meaningful connection between our counselors and campers.
Many of our counselors were once campers themselves, and some even return to Taiwan from universities in the United States to spend their summers with us. They come back because they cherish the friendships they have built, miss our campers, and genuinely enjoy being part of the TYPA community.
Through these positive relationships, our campers see wonderful role models who inspire them to be kind, confident, and caring individuals. The enthusiasm, energy, and encouragement our counselors bring each day help pass on the spirit of TYPA—supporting children as they build confidence, develop new skills, form lasting friendships, and enjoy being active, creative, and engaged in a supportive environment.
At TYPA, camp is more than just activities; it is about creating memories, nurturing relationships, and fostering a sense of belonging that lasts long after summer ends.
