Young Inventors Club

This club empowers kids to transform any object into an awesome, interactive invention that explores the boundaries of physics and circuitry!

With a range of electronics that move, sense, light up, and make noise – kids gain STEAM skills by learning how technology is built. In addition, kids learn how to combine technology with DIY tools and materials to invent something awesome.

Course

The Young Inventors Club 1

Students practice measuring and folding techniques that enable them to build simple mechanisms using cardboard. They are introduced to simple electrical circuits and components that enable their projects to move and come to life.

The Young Inventors Club 2

Students learn how to make 2D nets and turn them into 3D. We will explore 3D modelling and design and then fabrication using 3D printers. These projects will then incorporate more advanced electronics and some coding using Microbits.
