Minecraft World Building And MOD Coding 1

Suitable for beginners with limited Minecraft and computer knowledge, students will work with our instructors to transform and manipulate the 3D environment in their favorite game with code. Students will code their ‘agent’ through puzzles of different themes such as earth, space, and historical civilizations.

From generating the resources to creating pristine landscapes to automating in-game mechanics - students will use code to try and restore peace among the villagers. It’s the perfect opportunity for students to develop computer literacy and explore the fundamentals of coding with focus and excitement!

This program is more suitable for grades 4+ with computer skills or for grade 3 students who have already completed level 1. The environments in this program are complex and sophisticated. Students will build and preserve their own cities with transportation
networks, castles, and protective moats from invaders. They will be introduced to the Python coding language as they expand their toolkit for building worlds. Students are motivated to learn new technical skills since the more they learn, the more opportunities they have to create!
